This remote sustainability research internship offers hands-on experience analyzing environmental impact data and supporting corporate responsibility initiatives. You'll contribute to meaningful projects that help organizations measure and reduce their carbon footprint while developing expertise in ESG reporting and sustainable business practices.

Responsibilities

Conduct research on industry sustainability best practices
Analyze carbon footprint data and environmental impact metrics
Assist with ESG reporting and sustainability disclosures
Support development of corporate sustainability strategies
Research renewable energy and efficiency opportunities
Help create sustainability training materials and presentations
Monitor regulatory changes in environmental compliance
Assist with stakeholder engagement on sustainability initiatives
Compile competitive analysis on sustainability programs
Support grant applications for environmental projects

Requirements

Pursuing degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, or related field
Strong research and analytical skills
Familiarity with sustainability frameworks (GRI, SASB, TCFD)
Basic understanding of climate science and environmental issues
Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, R, or Python preferred)
Excellent written communication skills for report writing
Interest in corporate social responsibility and ESG investing
Ability to work independently on research projects
